Privacy policy

ProbaPredict publishes football probabilities. We have no user accounts and no advertising and no sign-up forms, so we collect very little about you.
What we collect
- Analytics, only if you accept. If you choose "Accept analytics", Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. If you reject, or make no choice, analytics cookies are not set; Google may still receive cookieless, anonymised signals under Consent Mode. Advertising storage is always off.
- Preferences on your device. Your odds format, favourite leagues and cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) and our database provider (Supabase) process your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site.
- Web fonts. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to serve them.
Why and on what basis
Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Hosting logs and stored preferences are necessary to run the site and remember the settings you choose.
Retention
Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics' retention settings. Local preferences stay until you clear them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Change your analytics choice with "Cookie settings" in the footer. See the cookie policy for details.
