How to use the parlay calculator
Type the moneyline for each pick, such as -150 for a favorite or +120 for an underdog. Decimal and fractional odds work as well. Mark each leg as Win, Void (a push, for example a postponed game) or Lose, then enter your bet amount. Dollars are the default; Canadian dollars, pounds and euros are in the currency menu. The parlay odds and payout update instantly, and the page URL saves your ticket so you can text it to a friend.
Want a second opinion on your picks? Use "Add from ProbaPredict" to search upcoming games in the Premier League, La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A, the Champions League and major international tournaments. Each pick comes with our model probability, and once every leg is ours you will see our estimated chance of the parlay hitting.
The math behind a parlay
- Moneyline to decimal: plus odds: 1 + odds ÷ 100. Minus odds: 1 + 100 ÷ |odds|.
- Parlay odds = the product of every leg's decimal odds.
- Payout = bet × parlay odds. Profit = payout − bet.
- Pushes count as 1.00. One loss loses the whole parlay.
- Back to American: if parlay decimal is 2.00 or more, American = +(decimal − 1) × 100.
Example 1: a three-leg Premier League parlay
You take Arsenal -150, an underdog at +120 and Over 2.5 goals at -110, and bet $20. In decimal: 1.67, 2.20 and 1.91. Multiplied: 7.00, which is +600 as a moneyline. If all three hit, the payout is $140.00, so you profit $120.00. The implied probability of all three is about 14.3% before removing the sportsbook's vig.
Example 2: a push
Same ticket, but the underdog's game is postponed and graded as a push. That leg counts as 1.00, so the parlay is now 1.67 × 1.91 = 3.18, or +218. Your $20 pays $63.64 if both remaining legs win.
Soccer parlays are different
Soccer moneylines are three-way: home, draw and away. A tie after regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage) loses a team moneyline, which is why soccer favorites often carry longer prices than an NFL or NBA favorite of similar strength. Totals usually use lines like Over/Under 2.5 goals, so there is no push on a half-goal line.
Common mistakes
- Adding moneylines together. You must convert to decimal and multiply.
- Forgetting the draw. A -150 favorite can still fail to win if the game ends tied.
- Building same-game parlays here. Legs from the same match are correlated, so sportsbooks price them below the simple product.
- Chasing big parlays. Each extra leg adds vig and cuts the chance of cashing.
